For Jesuit Worldwide Learning, collaboration is at the heart of its mission to provide quality higher education to youth in excluded communities. By partnering with universities, local communities, students, technology providers, and other mission-aligned organisations, JWL combines global with local expertise to deliver relevant, accessible, and transformative learning. These partnerships are essential to creating inclusive education models that empower students to become leaders who serve their communities and promote peace, justice, and sustainability.
University partners provide recognised, accredited programmes, as well as other forms of knowledge and expertise to provide learners quality education that will allow them to purse their professional and/or educational journeys. They typically contribute:
Accredited courses leading to certificates and degrees
Subject matter experts for course production
Online faculty supporting blended learning
Joint research
Learning works through and with the support of local communities. Partner organisations at the local level – including student-based organisations – ensure the daily running of the community learning centre.

Our students are often in low-connectivity and otherwise challenging contexts. Through creative leveraging of technology, students in remote and otherwise challenging contexts are able to study wherever they are. Our technology partners contribute:

Financial contributions from private donors, foundations and public funding make it possible for JWL to sustain and expand its offer of free and quality higher education to marginalised youth around the world.
